Serra olive oil

The oil culture in Serra has a long tradition, at the beginning of the 20th century. In the 20th century, the town had twelve oil mills located in the urban area, which little by little disappeared.

In 2019, the Montes de Serra Agricultural Cooperative recovered the production of oil in the municipality and that same year it received the third prize for the best olive oil made by a cooperative in the Valencian Community in the ESAO 2019-2020 awards of the Higher School of Olive Oil.

The oil that is made in the cooperative is for sale in local businesses.
