Marines

It is a special municipality, in its term two urban centers coexist, the old Marines de la Sierra and the new Marines del Llano. This duality is a consequence of the storm of October 14, 1957, which caused the Carraixet River to overflow and cause an immense avalanche on Marines, causing great damage, which is why the population, a few years later, moved to the Llíria plain. Marines has an important landscape, historical and cultural heritage, a place worth knowing.
